Almost Romantic Improv Group took the works in the Second Skin exhibition and gave them a physical second life. They used the objects in the gallery as the starting point for a completely improvised performance in spirit with the @rippleartsfestsantacruz . One creative act sparks another.
Thanks to everyone who watched these amazing humans turn static art into a living reaction tonight. The ripple effect continues—join us at the @rippleartsfestsantacruz Grand Finale at the Grove to close it all out April 26.

The @rippleartsfestsantacruz starts today! 10 days of art, performance, and more throughout Santa Cruz. We are stoked to be performing at @minnow.arts in collaboration with their current exhibition “Second Skin”, a group art show featuring several Oakland-based visual artists.
We’ll be performing an improv-based piece inspired by the artwork, followed by a small reception and discussion. Sunday, April 19th at 6pm at Minnow Arts gallery. Hope to see ya!
