OUT NOW!!! Prattyush Banerjee - The Kolkata Sessions Vol.1
As many of you will know, I’ve been travelling to India for many years to study Indian classical music, and I can’t emphasise how lucky I’ve been to be able to spend this time studying under the one and only Prattyush Banerjee.
@prattyushb is an incredible musician, thinker, educator, composer, performer and all-round remarkable human being. I feel so incredibly fortunate to have met him and spent time learning from him, and have been deeply inspired by his knowledge, wisdom, and philosophies on music and art.
I feel very proud to have been part of producing his new record The Kolkata Sessions Vol.1 (along with
@giulianomodarelli ), and we're really happy be able to release the album through our artist-run label,
@radiointl.label .
The album also features one of the last recordings of tabla maestro Subhankar Banerjee, who tragically passed away not long after this recording session.
Prattyush is currently on tour around the UK. I highly recommend to catch him if you can!
