At every family function, it isn’t a party until we pull out the chip platter with French onion dip. This weekend’s special is a take on that.
The dish consists of garlic crema, beer braised caramelized onion, chives, and chicharron.

In honor of Mother’s day weekend, I wanted to make one of my favorite dishes my mom made me as a kid. We really don’t know the name of it, but we called it Pastel de Pollo. Shouts out to my Tia Clara for showing my mom the recipe.
It consists of corn bread layered with braised chicken in chile verde. We added guacamole, pickled onions, and granino cheese.
This dish will be available all weekend (today at @thetheodoreaz , and Monday at @wrenhousebrewing ) from 5pm-sellout.

After working for one of the most prominent restaurants in Phoenix, Chef @padillatortilla & @mandyskye24 have launched their own open-fire pop-up concept @alitaphx 🔥I have witnessed Padilla create some of the most incredible dishes I have ever tasted. He’s considered to be one of the most talented individuals in the industry, earning respect from some of the top chefs in AZ.
