For Kickback, I wanted to make my favorite meal the star of the show β so naturally, @hot.snack and I built twelve feet of baguette sandwiches, placed on their own table, camouflaged against @hostgoodcompany βs iconic curtains.
Reminiscent of Scooby Doo and birthday party mega subs β paired with homemade beet hummus, farmers market veggies, lil gildas, marinated lima beans, and lotsssssss of potato chips. We even served everything up on compostable cafeteria trays.

An invitation to the lost art of the kickback.
Inspired by my fondest adolescent hangouts, plucked from ages 12 to 21: playing dress up, hodgepodge crafts, sharing playlists, painting nails, hotboxing your best friendβs bedroom, and queuing up your favorite music videos.
Kickback is an ode to the lesser-known party, the intimate hang, the future, and the past.
