I have SO MANY thoughts and feelings about transition and the many stages that trans people go through in a lifetime.
Iām making a commitment to myself to share more of these experiences.
Iāll admit, they at times intimate, silly, scary and all the other things that represent being a human.
If we donāt speak about these things in our community, people are going to be left thinking itās ājust a me problemā. And itās not!
If I keep letting the fear of it being used against me (us!) then Iām doing a disservice as an āelder transā.
I also think that one of my special qualities is the ability to be vulnerable in front of many. Itās how I started and itās what I feel I have lost.
But not anymore!

A lot of people think that the SAVE Act āmakes senseā. Why wouldnāt you ONLY want citizens to vote?
But I have a different perspective. Maybe even more of a question, who is going to be checking for āfraudā at the ballot box? How will they be trained? Are they going to dismiss my right if how they perceive my gender doesnāt reflect that on my paperwork?
