As a vivid dreamer I try to write down my dreams sleepdrunk when I can. My track ๐ผโ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ on the latest @bodymusick compilation contains scribbles from a dream about this lil guy Frodo and is out on all streaming platforms (bandcamp link in bio)
Our @mutantradiotbilisi series has been on a small, restful hiatus these past months โย but here are two extremely green ๐๐ค๐ณ๐บ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ด๐ค๐ข๐ฑ๐ฆ mixes from earlier this year, harking back to warmer days and lucid states ๐๐๐ฑ
First up, a luminous guest mix by @alinavalentinaja who draws on her experiences as a ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ: conjuring images that scatter and reform โ a flicker, a hum, a mirrored hallway with no end. Unfamiliar yet intimate, it traces a terrain of strange voices, pulsating noise, and long shadows.
Further back, a springtime episode about ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ง โ a soft emergence. Cyclical rhythms regaining momentum: an unravelling fern, the pollen haze. The show image is The Fontana di Diana Efesina, Villa dโEste, Italy (c. 1550โ1570)ย โย a symbol of abundance and renewal. The fountain depicts Diana of Ephesus, a serene, maternal figure rooted in ancient Eastern traditions. Her chest is adorned with multiple rounded forms โ sometimes read as breasts, sometimes as gourds, eggs, or animal testicles โ evoking fertility and the continuous nourishment of life.
Although the @schr0dingersbox label night was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, I had a wonderful time in Glasgow with my dear friends who joined me for the weekend :)
