It’s time for a more in depth look at the install for our first mural of the year, “The Local,” located in San Marcos, TX. 🐾
This mural articulates the essence of San Marcos through layered symbolism and abstract form. Native florals root the composition in the region’s landscape, while a maroon-and-gold structure subtly references the University. The Square’s architecture frames the scene as a blue ribbon — evoking the river and Sewell Park — moves fluidly throughout. A stylized horse nods to the city’s sculptural landmarks, uniting these elements into a cohesive visual narrative of place, movement, and quiet charm.
If you’re interested in having your very own aLILscribble mural let’s chat!
Murals start at $5,000.00 👩🏽🎨

We kicked things off in a city close to my heart — the place that shaped my creativity before I had any idea where it would take me.
San Marcos, TX. Home of the Texas State Bobcats 🐾
Big thanks to @greystarapartments for the space at @localsanmarcos to leave aLILscribble behind, and to @wxll.space for the opportunity. This one was a lot of fun, and even better knowing it gets to live with this community.
Video recap coming soon. 🎥
