Peyton Cash, there is truly no one like you. From the very beginning, you have been fearless. Brave, confident, larger than life, and so unbelievably special. And every year since, you’ve shown me over and over again just how incredible you are. You walk into every room with this energy that people are naturally drawn to. You make friends everywhere you go, keep all of us laughing and always entertained. You are hilarious, wildly talented, wicked smart, and completely unafraid to go after anything you want. Watching you this year has blown me away. The way you ski with absolutely zero fear is incredible, and seeing you start baseball and instantly light up over it has been so fun to watch. You throw your whole heart into everything you do. But what makes you the most special is your heart underneath all of it. You love your people deeply. You notice things. You are incredibly genuine and are always the first to ask if someone needs help. Nine years ago I looked into those big blue eyes for the very first time and instantly knew there was something so special about you. And every year since, you’ve shown me over and over again just how incredible you are. Amelie, you are the sweetest soul. So incredibly kind, sensitive and thoughtful in a way that can’t really be taught. You care so deeply about people and the world around you. You notice when someone’s left out, when someone’s sad, when someone needs a little extra love. You feel everything with your whole heart, and I hope you never lose that softness no matter how big you grow. But behind that gentle heart is this quiet determination that constantly blows my mind. This year especially, watching your growth in cheer and tumbling has been incredible. The confidence you’ve gained, the strength, the hard work, the way you keep pushing yourself even when something feels scary or hard… you make me so proud. And getting our special Disney day together this year is a memory I’ll hold onto forever. Just us girls walking around hand in hand. One of those days I wished I could freeze forever.
