Applications are now open for the Align Fellowship in Comprehensive Gender-Affirming Surgery. This one-year advanced #PlasticSurgery fellowship prepares surgeons for independent practice across the full spectrum of #GenderAffirmingCare, including facial, chest, body and genital procedures. Fellows will train within a high-volume, multidisciplinary practice performing 700+ cases annually, gaining hands-on operative experience alongside integrated clinical training and outcomes-based research across multiple sites. Proud moment for the Align team. This #FacialFeminizationSurgery, performed by Dr. Satterwhite (@tsatterwhitemd ), highlights an immediate intraoperative result of chondrolaryngoplasty (commonly known as a #TrachealShave), a procedure that reduces the appearance of the #AdamsApple. The incision is carefully placed high on the neck to remain discreet and minimally visible. As a relatively short procedure, it can often be performed on its own or in combination with other gender-affirming surgeries to support each patient’s goals.
