Applications are now open for the Align Fellowship in Comprehensive Gender-Affirming Surgery.
This one-year advanced #PlasticSurgery fellowship prepares surgeons for independent practice across the full spectrum of #GenderAffirmingCare, including facial, chest, body and genital procedures.
Fellows will train within a high-volume, multidisciplinary practice performing 700+ cases annually, gaining hands-on operative experience alongside integrated clinical training and outcomes-based research across multiple sites.
One-Year Fellowship | 1 Position Annually
Start Date: July 1, 2027

Our Align holiday party was truly epic! Debby (@danziano ), who organizes all of our parties and social activities, completely outdid herself this year. We celebrated at the @hiltonsfunionsquare ’s @cityscapeskybar in San Francisco, surrounded by stunning views and incredible energy.
We had a magician (who also created some impressive balloon art), a henna artist offering beautiful designs and an illustrator doing live portraits! Surgeons, PAs, staff and families all came together—including our team from LA (Dr. Safir (@msafirmd ), Dr. Mittermiller (@paulmittermillermd ) and Raia)—making it feel like one big Align family celebration.
It was a night filled with joy, gratitude and connection.
