We canāt ignore the men and partners when discussing relationships throughout this time of changeāØā
ā
Cam has shared what he wish he knew before I went through perimenopause, in the hopes that we can have more open conversations about the impacts on both ourselves & our partners. ā
ā
I wrote my most recent blog with the intention of providing resources, support or even just relief that other couples are facing the same road blocks you are! ā

Many years ago I posted on Instagram about Menopause. The response was enlightening. Many women having the same challenges. Many women feeling alone. That was the seed of wanting to write this book. Women as a collective are so powerful. So in this book I share all the intimate details of what led me to my menopause. The messaging I received as a model and what happens when God forbid we AGE. The book is full of stories of other women and their partners some well known. @georgieparker@rhondaburchmore@dranitaheiss@sallyobermeder and @lynnemcgranger were kind enough to share their feelings and experiences. Iāve attempted to add humour, and hopefully leaving you with a feeling of buoyancy. That menopause is just an intermission to a fabulous second half. You can pre order through the link in my bio. šš¼šš¼š #supergrateful @allenandunwin photo by @carlottamoye hair and makeup @craigbeaglehole

If Ali and I had waited until we felt ready, until we felt confident enough,ā until we felt like we knew exactly what we were doing - we quite literally wouldnāt have started!šā
ā
The phrase 'fake it till you make it' has really resonated with me when stepping into new rooms & being pushed way beyond of my comfort zone.ā
ā
In my mind, āfakingā is more like trusting yourself enough to try before you feel fully ready. That has been a huge part of this journey.ā
ā
Speaking before we felt confident enough.ā
Making decisions before we had every answer.ā
Taking steps forward even when the path wasnāt completely clear.ā
ā
Growth in any field rarely waits for you to feel perfectly prepared. So sometimes you've just got to take a leap of faith and wait for the net to appear! ā

Thereās something about light⦠āØ
The way it softens everything.
We wandered through the Trail of Lights in the heart of Mildura⦠and honestly⦠it felt like stepping into a magical wonderland
Created by the beautiful mind of Bruce Munro, itās not just something you look at⦠itās something you feel.
And then⦠just across the river in Wentworth⦠the Fibre Optic Symphonic Orchestra.
Built around the humble, iconic Hills Hoist (which feels very Australian and somehow very perfect)⦠glowing strands of light rise like music you can see⦠accompanied by a soundtrack created just for this exact moment.
Highly recommend adding this to your ālife feels a bit busyā reset list š¤

Mildura⦠youāve got a bit of a hold on me š¤
River mornings at Trentham Waters Resort⦠breakfast that was fantastic at Nash Lane⦠and yes⦠lunch with Bruce Munro (still not over that one). and
An afternoon wandering through Mildura Arts Centre⦠completely captivated by the work of Josh Muir and so many other incredible artists.
Creativity runs through this town with murals sprinkled throughout the city.
Of course you have the Aussie hospitality and charm of a country town.
I was so delighted at how many activities there are to do in Mildura.
Itās the kind of place that feels easyā¦
beautiful without trying.
Very grateful to experience this beautiful place.
Highly recommend adding Mildura to your āletās go on a road trip listā š

There are moments that quietly matter more than others.
Friday was one of themš
Sitting around a table with this groupāAlison DaddošKirsten Gray šAmanda Nancarrow šDr Arjun Shah šJosh Ayscough šTracey Robinsonš Chris Doube - was incredibly special. Not because of titles or experience (although thereās plenty of that), but because of the alignment in the room. The shared belief in what weāre building, and why it matters.
Weāre bringing together something thoughtful, considered and deeply human. A group of people who care about doing this properlyāand who understand the responsibility that comes with building in womenās health.
No big announcements just yet⦠but we left that lunch feeling very clear.
This is going to be something specialš

For our next chapter of Women of Strength, we sat down with Ali Daddo and Mary Doube - two women who are reshaping the conversation around perimenopause and midlife, with the help of a platform they built called @aviianaofficial
What began as two separate journeys led to the same unwavering belief: no woman should have to navigate this chapter alone. That conviction became a community - now 83,000 women strong - that offers support, solutions and a sense of solidarity at every stage.
āThe second half of my life in my late 40s led me to intersect with Ali, where we created Aviiana - a community of women who no longer have to figure it out alone.ā
Stories like these are why Women of Strength exists. We are drawn to women of substance, integrity and purpose ā and itās an honour to dress them in pieces made with the same intention: to endure, to empower, and to stand for something lasting.
Ali wears the Amira Asymmetrical Pleated Trousers and the Marnie Compact Cotton Knit Tank
Mary wears the Elinor Linen Midi Dress
