Advanced Sequencing with @alicramer and myself is the last module of the year @yo.bk . December 5-7 you can spend the weekend with us to sharpen your yoga sequencing skills. We will look at smart sequencing to specific postures and themes. We will explore sun salutations in their many forms. Master classes will be available! In Ayurvedic cooking, a Masala is a blend of carefully curated spices, designed to be both delicious and medicinal. At SOUK, we call our more experienced Yogis “Seasoned Practitioners” for the depth of flavor they bring to their practice, built with time, discerning effort, and consistency.
Join Ali Cramer, Yoga teacher and Ayurvedic Practitioner, for five workshop classes for Yoga Teachers and Seasoned Practitioners highlighting the many “spices” in Vinyasa Flow Yoga.
In each session, we will explore the use of Mudra, Mantra, Kriya, Pranayama, creative ways to use props or partners, Meditation, the influence of music and the potency of silence. Expect flow sequences that are creative with a purpose, to spotlight a chakra and/or build to a peak pose, with all the add ons that create a delicious blend!
Learn some new tools or refresh some old favorites for your home practice or your own classes. Each class will have time at the end for breakdown and Q&A.

From my upcoming Kundalini series on @yogaanytime , #egoeradicator is a great exercise to start your day. Arms up in a “V”, 4 fingers to the base of your knuckles, thumbs extended, eyes closed and turned up towards third eye center, breath of fire. Start with 30 seconds, build up gradually. If breath of fire doesn’t work for you, stay with Ujjayi (long smooth breath through your nose) Contraindications for breath of fire are pregnancy, menstruation, if you just ate or you’re feeling overheated or anxious, or you struggle with headaches, migraines or any affliction of the eyes.
