Andrea Barello, born and raised in Italy, approached the world of comedy in San Francisco through improvisation, and performed with different ensembles, including the Turkish-Italian duo Euro Trash, which toured comedy festivals in the USA and Europe. In 2023 Andrea created Tonight!, his first solo show. Hailed by The List as "A little spa break for the soul", ★★★★, and won the ‘A Moontagna Fest award at the Ca/tan/ia Fringe (Italia Off) in 2024. Since 2024 Andrea has started a collaboration with Clowns without Borders (USA) and Llaven nü (Mexico), and participates in humanitarian clown projects aimed at displaced and vulnerable populations. When Andrea’s not clowning around the world he’s based in Los Angeles, where he hikes in the Hollywood hills and creates silly clown acts.
Andrea’s newest show is, Full of Grace which follows Father Andrea, a very peculiar clergyman, as he administers a very peculiar worship service. With hoses-down of holy water and parishioners caught somewhere between a Hail Mary and a Macarena, this not-so-young Padre clearly grew up Catholic in the most Catholic country. He can't bring you to Italy with him, but he’s determined to find you a place in heaven. A charming and eccentric character who will make you see church in a new light, and hopefully, repent of your sins!! After its debut at the Orlando Fringe Winter Mini-Fest, and a successful tour in Australia (★★★★★ "Blessed are those who book a ticket - for theirs is a very funny night at church", Fringe Benefits Podcast), Father Andrea will be back in Orlando this May, ready to show you the path to salvation.
S3 E11 Drops Thursday on your favorite podcast platforms and on YouTube.
