This is a work in progress screening. @piercze helped design Chippy, which was animated by Frank Suarez of @bunkostudios , cel animator of Mr. DNA for Jurassic Park .

In 2013, a huge fire broke out in the San Jacinto Mountains in California. I found myself there filming firefighters and state prisoners doing manual labor until @CalFire kindly but forcibly escorted me down the mountain after they realized I wasn’t a TV camera guy (lmao). Later I was able to make sense of the footage when I began ripping other people's videos of the same fire. This was a time when you could easily DM people on YouTube. The film was essentially an exercise in licensing media from random people through social media.

Cool World (1992) might be one of the worst films of all time (seriously, do not seek it out) but it does contain one of the weirdest and most affecting aerial shots ever, which was probably achieved with an outboard 35mm film camera mounted to the underbelly of a helicopter, with a medium-snap zoom to boot. I believe the location is Southern Desert Correctional Center in Indian Springs, NV.
