Rising from the sands of the Giza Plateau like a vision dreamt in stone, Echoes of the Infinite marks a powerful new chapter for StudioPROBA. Created in collaboration with @solid_nature /@davidmahyari , 'Forever Is Now 05' is a monumental installation for @artdegypte , that translates @alexproba 's fluid, emotionally charged visual language into a meditative landscape of marble, onyx, travertine, and quartzite, her largest sculptural work to date and her Egyptian debut. Far from a static monument, the work unfolds as a spatial journey. Three vast, sensuous forms emerge like artefacts of the future: a circular stone portal that perfectly frames the pyramids; a dark green winged sculpture recalling the Eye of Horus; rose-hued verticals that seem to rise and breathe from the desert floor. Each piece pulses with symbolic weight, drawing from Egyptian cosmology to reflect on protection, rebirth, cosmic rhythm and the looping passage of time. "The materials already contain beauty and movement," says Proba. "I simply revealed what was already there." The result is a sculptural symphony that feels both ancient and otherworldly, shaped not by dominance, but by intuition and emotion. As SolidNature CEO David Mahyari puts it, "Stone is eternal. It forms, erodes, reshapes, and reforms over millennia." With Echoes of the Infinite, Proba does not mimic history; instead, it reveals the quiet dialogue between the earth and humanity. 📸: @mahmoud.hima1 🖊: @jamilahetoni

"A pool is a forgotten canvas,” says @alexproba , a New York City– and Portland, Oregon–based artist and designer known for her use of naive abstractions. Like Pablo Picasso and David Hockney before her, she has painted swimming pools with site-specific murals, her vibrant compositions glistening beneath the water. Now, thanks to a private client in Miami, Proba has taken things a step further—realizing one such tableau in custom glazed tiles. Read more on the project—as well as other discoveries of the month—at the link in our bio. Some collaborations start long before you ever sit in the same room. Last year we worked together with @alexproba on one of the most iconic projects we’ve ever done at @solid_nature . A monumental installation for @artdegypte , set right at the feet of the Giza Pyramids. We had never met in person. Everything happened through screens, calls, trust, and a shared love for material, color, and scale. And somehow, that journey took our work all the way to the desert, right beneath one of the most legendary backdrops in the world. Having Alex here today in our warehouse in Aalsmeer felt very special. A full-circle moment. Grateful for the collaboration, grateful for her vision, and excited for everything still to come.

Motherhood has added a whole new layer of color to my world. Since she came into my life, I’ve been seeing everything differently. It’s softer, louder, deeper, more alive. The smallest moments suddenly hold the most meaning. Joy feels bigger. Time feels faster. Love feels endless. But WOW, it is also soo much harder than I could have ever imagined. The exhaustion, the constant worrying, the complete shift of self, nothing can truly prepare you for it. It stretches you in every possible way while somehow making your heart grow bigger at the same time. As an artist, so much of my work has always been about emotion, connection, play, and wonder, but becoming a mom has transformed the way I experience all of it. It’s made me more present, more vulnerable, more emotional, and even more inspired by the beauty in the everyday. I’m so excited to see how this next chapter of life shapes my work, my creativity, and the worlds I continue to build through color and form. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and mother figures out there. What you do is invisible, powerful, beautiful, relentless, and extraordinary. Love, Alex Thank you for the visit @theyostore @kaitlinmgreen — so many precious moments (and outfits) captured. 🌷

Every single tile in this mural is made by hand before becoming part of a much larger puzzle. Cut, glazed, fired, sorted, and slowly assembled piece by piece until the artwork starts to come alive. What looks playful and effortless in the end is actually hundreds and hundreds of individual decisions, tiny imperfections, color shifts, curves, and organic cuts all finding their place together. I’ve always loved the idea that something so massive begins with one small tile at a time. Can’t wait to share this full wall coming to Guadalajara soon with @ceramicasuro . Cairo moves through color and stone. Its geological memory, sun-warmed limestone, carved marble, desert dust, layered with the pulse of markets, spices, textiles, painted streets. Earth tones meet saffron, pomegranate, indigo, mint. Each hue a fragment, like strata woven into thread. From bedrock to bazaar, the rugs become a soft piece to live with. Inspired by our our Giza sculptures with @solid_nature for @artdegypte Our “Present Tense” rug collection is now available in both our web stores.

A study in stone, translated into thread. What began as studies and hand sketches evolved into something carved by nature itself. Inspired by natural stones and the material language behind our sculptures at Giza with @solid_nature for @artdegypte , these gemstone rugs translate marble, quartzite, onyx, and earth into woven form. A quiet tension between precision and organic flow, brought to life with PROBA x Kahhal 1871. Launching this Sunday March 29, 2026
