Prediction markets are federally regulated, like commodity futures that help farmers manage risk during down seasons.
But over 40 states believe the "event contracts" on prediction sites are gambling, and should be regulated as such.

Happy One Year Anniversary to us! We had our first trip to Japan in December, and just a month ago, we moved uptown! (Come visit please!!!) We are sad to leave Brooklyn but so excited to explore our new hood. So grateful for the support of so many family and friends. For more than 70 years, scientists and dental experts have considered public water fluoridation safe. But, a growing movement, including from President Trump’s choice for Health & Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is pushing some communities to remove it from public water supplies. @cbsnewsconfirmed spoke to people in Lebanon, Oregon, who were deeply divided on the issue but ultimately voted to remove it.
