There’s something disorienting about trying to step back into real life after a week that changes you.
Visiting Poland on @molcanada was heavy in a way that’s hard to put into words. Walking through history, witnessing the unimaginable, carrying stories that don’t leave you when you get on the plane home. It shifts your perspective in a permanent way.
And then you land back in Toronto. School drop offs, emails, workouts, dinner plans. Life just… continues. It feels strange, almost jarring, to move between those two realities.
Today, celebrating Yom Ha’atzmaut feels different. Deeper. More emotional. More necessary. After seeing where we’ve been, the existence of Israel feels not just meaningful, but essential. A reminder of resilience, survival, and the strength of our people.
Holding both at once. The weight of the past and the gratitude for today. If anyone is interested to hear more about my experience, or thinking about attending the trip, I would be thrilled to talk with you about it.
