POV youāre on set with meššøšµ
A mosiac of some things Iāve done recently from NYFW casting/backstage management to on set 1st AD/producing. I love meeting people and creating art with you all, itās my favorite thing in the world letās do it some more til forever yeah? :)
I find it funny that one thing these sets have in common is me consuming ungodly amounts of matcha I truly put the AD in ADHD.
Cats out the bag š¦š¤ Iām honored to say that Iām officially an emerging storyteller in partnership with @delta x @disney for the new #MUFASA The Lion King movie directed by Barry Jenkins @bandrybarry !
#MUFASA is out in theaters TOMORROW Dec 20th
I always loved that filmmaking gives me the opportunity to meet a variety of people and tell their stories. Iām continuously fascinated with the amazing people that I get a chance to interact with and learn from throughout my journey. Oftentimes many people hyper-fixate on the destination and forget that the journey, the ups and downs and how you overcome challenges is the fun part.
Donāt let anyone tell you you canāt occupy the spaces youāre meant to.
This experience and filmmaking as a whole has taught me to:
Dream a lil bigger
Trust in yourself
Trust in the process
And always show up as your authentic self ā¤ļø
Cheers to this opportunity and the abundance to followš„Thank you GOD! And itās only just the beginningā¦

I am love, I am light, my smile brings joy and blessing to those who see it and I light up the room with energy and sun. I create the vibrancy, I lead with love and care and attract those who do the same. Anyone who thinks otherwise does not know me, and I feel sorry that you have not encountered that version of me. I have so much grace and love for myself I hope you find the same ā¤ļø

A little throwback to my interview with @cuny.tv@cunytvframebyframe to discuss my short film Oldest.
It was great to open up about the intention behind the film, my process with directing and casting, and the personal inspirations that shaped the story. This one is really close to meā¤ļø
Oldest follows Adjani as she steps into her next chapter while carrying the quiet weight of being the eldest daughter in an immigrant family household.
Thank you for all the beautiful conversations surrounding this film, those conversations are why creating art like this matters. Itās seriously been such a beautiful part of this whole experience. Thank you for supporting the film as it begins its festival run!
As the eldest daughter in an immigrant parent household, Adjani must navigate the delicate balance between being the backbone of her family and pursuing her dreams. (13 min, Narrative, Director: Alexa Whyte)

My 22nd year was so impactful in ways I canāt even begin to process. Grateful for friends, new opportunities, meeting new people and having beautiful experiences. Cheers to doing that tenfold for 23 :)
On your next flight, go behind the scenes with our four filmmakers who helped make the moments leading up to our activation at Disney's Mufasa: The Lion King premiere one to remember. Watch their stories unfold in The Journey to Legacy, now available to watch on your seatback screen.
NFFTY 2025!
This festival will always have a special place in my heart. Iām consistently in awe of and amazed to be surrounded by community of such phenomenal human beings in both spirit and talent. To everyone I interacted with this weekend, thank you so much for the laughs shared; thank you for the inspiration gained through showcasing your films. Where else can I say I belly laughed and held back emotion of tears with a room full of talented filmmakers my age celebrating their work. This sense of community, this collaboration, this is what filmmaking is about and this weekend further reminded me of that. But enough about being sappy, beyond that Iām just grateful that I get to create beautiful art with talented people for a living. See you at the next NFFTY šā¤ļø
And please send me your films I want to see it and support/celebrate you! Please donāt hesitate to reach out because I will :)
