As I have been working on and off in the edit bay these past couple months, here is a first look at the trailer for our short film in the making, my senior thesis, my child, “The Music Coma.” This piece is my biggest accomplishment to date and combines everything I am into one: my love for music and dance; my desire for spiritual connection, and my varied attempts to find stillness in moments of uncertainty, despite my often complacent nature. Promoting the intersection between young artists and mental health will always be at the forefront behind everything I create. As always, I am blessed beyond words to have worked alongside an incredibly talented team who I hold near and dear to my heart. To those who have worked intimately with me from the beginning from rehearsals till now, I love you till the end. As we secure funding for post-production costs, this trailer is a heartfelt reminder of all the work we’ve created so far and have yet to achieve… Edited by yours truly, with only a portion of the 50+ amazing people we worked with on this production with tagged here. Grateful and looking forward for what’s to come. And a special thank you to @khalil_ayed for working on our lovely title card. All graphic design magic with me this past month… 💫

Excited to finally share some stills from “Exchange Of Fire” a dance short we shot back in March based off a personal poem I wrote. Extremely grateful for this small but mighty team for helping me pull this off within a 2-3 time window. A special thanks to @tobyromerodp for being so lovely to work with and helping me achieve my vision. I gotta also thank @jake.m.white for nailing this grade and working with us so diligently. Thank you @felrus for being a lighting aficionado despite our limited equipment and quite literally, single reflector on set. “exchange of fire” to screen in Berlin this June at @hausfuerpoesie 🩵 grateful and touched. an additional and overdue thank you to @experimentaldancemusic @dancefilmfest_prague and @norwichqueerinternationalfilm for selections this past year “exchange of fire” is an experimental dance short exploring queer identity through unrequited longing. told through movement and poetry, the film centers on two women who’s intimate, enigmatic connection unfolds through opposing vocabularies and restrained desire. through the concept of equations and the element of fire, viewers bear witness to a sensual, tender exploration suspended between two uniquely polarizing flow states.
