Over about a year later since they began developing it, our team managed to finish principal photography on the film and we're headed to post-production! A huge shout out to our Director @byfaranak and the crew for putting in tireless prep to make this vision come to life. If a grip drives a lift and no one’s there to post it did it even happen? Finished a feature over a week ago but I already miss my new G&E sisters and brothers. Some thoughts I took down over the past month: I can’t look at ranch the same way. There’s multiple kinds of haze fluid I don’t like breathing. No one looks tough on a crank stand. Counting to ten saves you 40,000 steps. #hireme #grip #indie

What a month… I think I filled a pool with sweat and I’m still tired! This last job felt like a test of my knowledge, confidence and professionalism all rolled into one. I was nervous coming into it, and the first week was a storm, literally. But even pushed to my limit there was always something I could rely on. My friends. I can’t express how grateful I am to have been brought on by one of my closest friends, AND to be able to bring so many more friends and mentors onto this project. Each step of the way there was someone else by my side making the 19hour days and the craziness of production fun and reminding me that I was there for a reason. Because of them I got to take a minute, catch my breath and take in the incredible opportunity I had to work alongside such awesome people while doing what I love. So many new friends, such incredible people, I couldn’t help but laugh and joke with all the new friends I made while on this project. There was even time to get a little goofy by the end. But alas, PA had to be put in my rearview mirror… for now. In the meantime I want to just say thank you to everyone on this crew (photographed and beyond) for making it such a worth while one. You all helped remind me of why I’m here doing this. I’m glad I got to make the memories I have with all of you.
