We had the honor of hosting @bourkes.hk last April 24. A huge thank you to @taramargaritad and @aled.burt for giving us an unforgettable night of incredible food and cocktails. Bourkeās has long been an inspiration to all of us here at No Entry. From the moment our team first stepped inside and experienced everything they had to offer, we knew it was something we hoped to one day bring from Hong Kong to Manila.

On April 24, head chef Tara Margarita (@taramargaritad ) and bar manager Aled Burt (@aled.burt ) of @bourkes.hk take over No Entry in BGCāthe cocktail bar recently crowned Tatler Best Philippines: Best Design and awarded a place in the coveted Tatler Best 20, our listing of the top bars around the country.
On the beverage side, the Melbourne-inspired wine bar presents ingredient-driven cocktails with a focus on native produce, through executions that reimagine nostalgic flavours.
From the kitchen, savour tempting dishes like whipped cod roe with ikura and Ruffles chips, liver parfait toast with blueberry jam, and a hearty chicken āparmiā with sliced buttermilk.

After a year and a half, we thought it was finally time to reimagine our cocktail menu. So we began by delving into the essence of Bourkeās, uncovering what sets us apart and how we can double down on what weāre good at.
At its core, Bourkeās is an Australian bar, steadfast in its commitment to embodying the essence of Aussie hospitality & from the vibrant streets of Melbourne. The soul of Bourkeās āAustralian Bar Experienceā pulsates within a fusion of high-quality cocktails, wines, food, and good cold beer. Through this latest menu, we embrace locally sourced ingredients from Australia, showcased through the āNative Cocktailsā, while the āNostalgia Cocktailsā aims to evoke cherished memories of an Australian childhood, currently through Soft Drinks.
To kick things off, we present @aled.burt nostalgia cocktail: the āAdultās Cream Sodaā. šØš
Itās a sophisticated take on the childhood drink, just imagine a Cream Soda inspired Highball with @martellofficial VSOP, @chivasregal 12 Whisky, @saisonaperitifs Black Walnut Vermouth, Milk, with a Vanilla & Coffee Foam. Through some labour-intensive āmilk punchingā, it gives it that smooth and balanced mouth-feel, reminiscent of a āSpiderā (aka an Ice-cream Float). This creamy combo will take you straight back in time, on the way to Friday night fun. It even comes with a neon red ācherryā!!
Itās our most extensive change in both offering and design since we opened in Oct 2024, and we really hope you dig it as much as we do.

On 4th March, from 7PM-11PM, we welcome Aled Burt, Bar Manager of @bourkes.hk , the gem of Peel Street in Hong Kong.
Aled brings years of experience from the hospitality scene across multiple cities. Inspired by the very street in Melbourne, Bourkeās was born from a desire to create an authentic Australian bar experience in Hong Kong through inventive cocktails, an interesting wine list, classic Aussie dishes and good cold beer - all while never losing its sense of fun or genuine hospitality.
And for this very evening, Aled brings the same care and vision to the cocktail menu at The Elephant Room.
Bourkeās is where people feel comfortable, looked after and welcomed exactly as they are. Expect that same authentic, neighbourhood energy for your after-work refuge for good drinks, good company and laid-back charm.
