On Friday I hosted the PV of my solo exhibition ‘Nestled on a Silver Perch’, which is on at @makeiteasylab in Nottingham until 28th June.
Thank you to everyone that came down for the opening, it was great to meet new faces and to finally bring into existence something I’ve been working on for a while!

LAST 6 DAYS of our OPEN CALL for our 4th collective book! Submissions are made through the link in our bio. These are some of our favourites so far!
Our call is open worldwide to all types of visual arts; photography, painting, illustration, sculpture, design, film stills, etc. Basically anything printable in a book. No restrictions in terms of age, accomplishments, approach… You can send images from one or more projects but note that they will still be considered individually.
Your credentials or previous accomplishments are irrelevant. Our mission is to give a home to great images whatever the background of the artist is. That being said, we have always encouraged the newcomers. Since the beginning we try our best to spread the work of unknown & emerging (sorry to use this term…) artists!

Was really interesting to sit for an Ambrotype & Tintype portrait session for the first time, seeing the traditional wet plate collodion process from the 19th century up close
A few photographs I made back in 2016 of record shop interiors as part of my first year degree project. Looking through them brought back a lot of fond memories, mainly of driving around the country with my friends and combining my love of music & photography to form this series.
It’s also sad to hear about many closing down, but I’m glad that I got to capture a record of them from this time.

It was amazing to see so many people at the opening, so thankyou to everyone of you that turned up for a chat and a drink, it made the night so special!
