The set is called “ BACKYARD SAFARI”, comes with the junk car and 3 cats for you to arrange as you please :)
The junk car is 6.5 x 2.5 in
Pine and copal wood + acrylic paint.
It’s a limited run of 35 reproductions so if you want one don’t sleep on it!

Designed and prototyped by me in Mexico City.
Reproductions were hand carved and painted in Oaxaca mexico by artisan José Alberto Fuentes and his wife Fanny.
I feel very proud of this commission for my friend @nicolerifkin . When she reached out she told me she wanted a cat playing drums and smoking a cigarette but “do your thing” she said.
And this is it . It was fun times in the studio while painting this fella and I also learned a lot about my process.

Hello internet!
I have this painting available to buy. It’s the first time I painted from real life and went about it the same way I do with life drawings on my sketchbook but BIG. No sketches, no planning, just looking at something and painting it. It was really fun and to tell you the truth, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
It’s kind of big, acrylic paint on canvas, and it has lots of lovely textures happening all around.

Muy contento de mostrarles esta animación y camiseta que trabajé para @chasebliss
La animación es un intro para sus videos de Youtube, y como nos gustó mucho como quedó aprovechamos para hacer una camiseta.
Todo el proyecto lo trabajé con pinceles de @truegrittexturesupply que se tradujeron 10 de 10 entre el dibujo, animación y serigrafía. La parte animada fue en conjunto con @estudio_liminal y el audio con @_phillbarrera (saludos amigos👋)
La verdad es que siempre es un gusto trabajar con proyectos y gente que admiro.
