Suffolk is very much the gastronomical Narnia of the United Kingdom & the greatest 1-2 combination one can pull off is @asuffolkpub followed by @alde_cafe
Thank you @chefadamspicer and @squaremeal.co.uk for you Suffolk favourites
Alde Cafe
Adam Spicer says: 'Alde Café makes breakfast feel really thoughtful. The scallops are sweet and tender, the bubble and squeak brings texture and depth, and the black pudding is rich without being heavy. Everything is balanced and carefully prepared, bringing nostalgia and warmth to the most important meal of the day. It's a breakfast that sticks with you.'
“Breakfast is everything” AA Gill said so it must be true
Great to be anyone’s favourite but @chefadamspicer tops the list

“Nothing’s offal the table
Veggies, look away, because offal is back on the menu. Eating innards has been trendy for some time, but we’re seeing a rise in top spots serving up old-school cuts rather than the kind hipsters nibble on with their pét nat. Think liver, devilled kidneys and black pudding — fare our grandparents might have eaten during the war (followed by a dense slab of bread pudding).
Simpson’s in the Strand — Jeremy King’s newly revived grande dame in central London - serves steak and kidney puddings in its dining rooms, while Brasserie Angelica at the Newman hotel in Fitzrovia has calf’s liver on the menu. Elsewhere, black pudding has a starring role at the Alde Cafe in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, and the Swan Inn in Fittleworth, West Sussex, is the place to go for
devilled kidneys. The question is: can you stomach it?”
Thank you to @magazine_fan for spotting it
