#alainbiltereyst #dibond foto print > Last summer, during the TINTEN EN TEXTUUR – Collectief Pep-In-Gen exhibition, I found a bunch of jerrycans in the barns at Hof ter Kammen – everyday objects that usually go unnoticed. Separated from their function, they acquire a new, autonomous presence – both familiar and strange. I focused on these sources, resulting in photographs that reflect my fascination with the quiet beauty of functional design.
I made a small book to accompany it, in a very limited edition. Available via www.donna.brussels
