There’s a strange purity in waiting...
Sitting on a plane before takeoff, standing backstage before a gig, lying in a hospital bed before surgery...wildly different rooms, same feeling.
That quiet moment where you’ve done everything you can do, and now the only move left is trust.
You trust the pilots, the music, the surgeon.
You trust unseen systems, people you may never meet, and the invisible thread holding it all together.
That night in Berlin lived in that space No control, no safety net, just belief. Belief that the room would hold us, that the music would land where it needed to, that letting go would be the right move. And it was.
Berlin reminded me that the magic never comes from forcing it, but from stepping into something bigger and allowing yourself to be carried.
