Jay Tripwire and Ohm Hourani integrate their unparalleled sound for a vinyl only release consisting of two tracks at a total runtime around twenty-six minutes long. The record is named after the area code from where each artist resides within Montreal, Quebec (514) and Vancouver, British Columbia (604). The pair have humbly inspired us over the years with their ever changing diversity, experimentation, timeless artistry, and live performances.
Jay Tripwire and Ohm Hourani finally deliver a long awaited collaboration together for dance floors around the world. Already tried and true at various night clubs - music lovers can cherish this exhilarating excursion unfolded and brought to life by two Canadian legends.

Over 25 years deep into his craft, he's toured more than 200 cities worldwide, released over 300 vinyl records plus hundreds of digital projects, and remained loyal to the vinyl-era ethos he started with - no sync button, no shortcuts, just decades of digging and a serious ear for the deeper end of underground.
With appearances at events such as BPM Festival, Resolute NYC and Fabric London behind him, Jay brings a swagger you only earn from putting in the work.

It’s difficult to write a poignant introduction for someone whose career has flourished longer than your years on Earth. Well, this is Jay Tripwire; a giant whose imprint on the electronic music scene has immense breadth and depth. Tripwire has been a DJ for over 30 years, having toured internationally for 25 of those years. Over this time, Jay has solidified his name as a masterful and meticulous DJ, as well as being a prolific and innovative producer—having played the world’s top clubs, and accumulated over 426 vinyl releases and hundreds digitally. His sound covers a range of tech house, minimal and house affairs with Detroit textures, intricate rhythms, and a heavy hand on the ‘wonk’. Above all this, Jay carries a deep care and consideration for the scene, as well as having an awesome RA bio #must-read
Tripwire’s drink of choice is his version of the Caesar. A beverage of Canadian origin, its smorgasbord of ingredients brings together tomato-clam juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Tajin and a generous glug of tequila. It’s an umami bomb that will have your tastebuds and head buzzing for the night to come.

The third issue is out!
A lot of work went into this, and I hope that anyone who takes a moment to flip through it—and maybe dive a little deeper—discovers something new about the amazing people who shape this city’s scene and becomes a bit curious to know about each persons journey and not only what they play and produce.
This will be the last zine for a while, as I’ll be making my way back to Colombia for some time in the coming month. But I’ll do my absolute best to come back and continue this project.
