Today is me and Omar’s 7 year anniversary ! Can you believe it.
I wrote this song at the end of Omar’s sabbatical about the fears that surface when committing yourself to a 9-5. I wanted to write something that was a reassurance not just of our love for each other but our commitment to keep each other happy and safe.
I love this video so much and getting to remember our holiday last summer like this. I love you O, happy anniversary. Here’s to many more.

I wrote Other Sun a few days after getting back from the Philippines earlier this year.
I felt so welcome and embraced by the Philippines. I got so much out of being there. Every place I went I felt grounded and present in, every person I met was so giving but I couldn’t help but feel that in these moments of connection I was doing more to take away. I’m not really sure what the route to sustainable tourism is but this was my little two cents feeling torn about it. I hope you enjoy a little fragment of my mind.
