There’s so much pulling us down. Most days I feel angry, disheartened, exhausted. But every now and then, life slips in a quiet reminder. That beauty, softness, and heart are still out there. Suppose we have to find the strength to remain open and stay close to our loved ones…
We had to say goodbye to our girl Raven this past weekend. I’m glad our whole family was able to be there to send her off, but that doesn’t make it any easier.
After our last family dog, we thought that chapter might be closed. But, my Ma surprised us all and found another black lab, this time a rescue. Raven came to us already carrying a lot: anxiety, a bad hip, and a timeline the vet warned would be shorter. Raven wasn’t having that though.
She gave us ten full years. Ten years of love, patience, and quiet joy. She wasn’t a runner like our dog before her. She took life slow, steady, and always with her heart first. A true lover.
She was there through graduations, moves, new beginnings, and even my parents’ retirement. And in those years, she became exactly what we needed: a calm presence, a gentle companion, a reminder that love doesn’t have to run fast to run deep.
We’ll miss you, Rave. Thank you for finding your way to us, and for filling our family with so much love.
Had the honor of directing and editing a docu piece for @northwellhealth Transplant Institute. We spent time with their incredible doctors and staff, observing the pace, precision, and unspoken rhythm it takes to perform a transplant.
What stayed with me most wasn’t just the technical brilliance, but the sense of purpose behind it all. Giving someone a second chance at life… there’s nothing more human than that.
We only scratched the surface of what I think is a much larger, more powerful story. Grateful to the Northwell team for trusting me and my team to help tell a small part of it.

Pitched on a project a while back to work with MoMA. We didn’t end up getting it, but I still really love the mood edit we brought to the table.
All the footage came from work that’s lived in the MoMA, and we pulled pieces that felt like New York. I got to edit, write, and even voice the script, which made this one feel especially personal.
Would’ve loved to see it through, but that’s the nature of the game. Sometimes you give it everything, and the response is: “We loved the treatment… but we’re going in another direction.”
You can’t let that change how you show up. Stay open. Keep pushing. If you’re not pouring your heart into it… what’s the point?
