We were walking past tractors and trollies when this caught my attention. Light falling on the farmer who was talking to his friends in the next trolly. When you look at this photo for the first time it feels like he's sitting under the stars until you look closely and realise they are holes on the roof. A friend of mine saw this photograph and said, "it speaks of so much. It looks like the hope that the government wants to paint but has so many holes in it". I see it a little differently. The light is hope and so is the farmer who is fighting this government. Today on Gurupurab, I wish everyone hope and optimism to fight for what's right just like our farmers.

I once randomly started documenting people and their hands in the Delhi Metro in 2017 and once it was a regular thing people started mentioning "subway hands" and I used to say, "okay, you can call it that" with no idea that it was already a thing until one day when someone tagged them. I was surprised and amused to see it and have been a fan since. Especially because I try to do something similar whenever I can. So when we were in New York recently, I HAD to document people's hands in the subway. Subway is very different from the metro and I had too much fun taking the train and documenting people there.

I've been feeling a lot of things lately and I'm unable to pin them down. Maybe writing them down could help. I've been in therapy for half a decade now. Please ignore this word vomit. Enjoy some photographs from home [Home, Delhi, Bir, Mumbai, Fujifilm, X100VI]

Love looks different for everyone. That's the beauty of it. Akshay and I have been witnessing it for seven years now. And yet, every time we think we've seen it all, one conversation, one interview, one photograph shifts something for us. It reminds us that love never really repeats itself. It just shows up in new ways. We're still learning on the job. Grateful for the beautiful humans who trust us, year after year, to lens their love.

What a journey it has been bringing these photobooks to life. The photographs by @akshaykapoooor are intense and powerful. After much nudging (and pestering), we finally decided they had to exist in print. Farmers Protest (I) captures active scenes from the protests, including interactions between protesters and the police, with photographs from significant events such as the tractor rally on 26 January 2021. Farmers Protest (II) focuses on everyday life at the protest sites, documenting quieter moments across the three major locations: Singhu Border, Tikri Border, and Ghazipur Border. The CAA–NRC Protests photobook brings together photographs from multiple protest sites documented over a period of two to three months, reflecting the scale and persistence of the movement. We’re currently working on a more expansive publication that will bring together the full body of photographs along with field notes from the journeys behind them. I’ll also be sharing a short video soon, walking through my design process and how I curated the photographs for these books. The sequencing and layouts were shaped by considerations of movement, symmetry, and recurring objects within the images. You can now find these photobooks at @thebookshopinc @printedmatter.kochi @editionsjojo @offsetbookshop @studio.3fold and many more to come. Soon to be at @champacabooks You can also order your copy through the link in bio. Grateful to everyone supporting small print publications and independent photography. The only thing warmer than the quiet charm of Kovalam was the love surrounding Rashi and Prince. Three days of easy laughter, closeness, and the kind of celebration that stays soft and personal. An intimate seaside wedding shared with the people who matter most. Planned by @leflorenceweddings

I hope you find love. Now I'm no expert in love and writing but I hope this love is calm & tender like flowers in spring. I hope this love sees you and accepts you for you, where your inner child thrives, where you can be messy together, where you nurture each other like a farmer nurtures its land. I hope it feels like you're walking in a meadow. Being loved and loving shouldn't be difficult and if it gets difficult you find a path together. I hope when you two meet, you mix your worlds beautifully, like two colors or two chords that no one thought would work makes sense when they do. I hope you don't romanticise love because it's fucking real and when you do fall in love, I hope you don't lose yourself in it.

Rushika & Dom's wedding took place in the beautiful Bikaner Palace nestled away in Mount Abu surrounded by their closest people. It was a gathering of lovers, the quote by Rumi was the center stone of their celebration and it was just 2 days of pure love and joy. Here is a glimpse of their beautiful wedding and their story.
