What was first believed to be a solitary find has proven to be only the beginning.
Following further excavation of the burial chamber, archaeologists now confirm that at least one additional cassette has been uncovered preserved alongside the first, hidden deeper within the chamber walls. Early reports suggest these recordings may form part of a larger, previously unknown archive.
The discovery has intensified speculation around their purpose, origin, and the possibility that more remain buried beneath the site.
Sample Pack Vol. 2 expands on this revelation, introducing deeper, darker material, as if drawn from newly exposed layers of the chamber itself. The sounds feel more ritualistic, more eroded, and more intentional, hinting at a collection never meant to surface all at once.
This is no longer a single artefact.
It is the beginning of an archive.
Each sound is an echo from the excavation, fragments recovered, stabilised, and reinterpreted for modern use.
What else remains buried is still unknown.

It has lain within a burial chamber, undisturbed, for thousands of years. Now at least one remarkable Egyptian cassette with 10 elite hiphop + R&B songstarters has emerged from deep beneath the sands near Cairo, to the excitement of archaeologists, who describe it as a hugely significant “dream discovery”. The cassette is said to have belonged to Egyptian Queen Aaria Tae. “The cassette and rumoured other objects are dated to the late period of her rule, about 500BC.” @wavsdotcom said.
Archeologists announced that along with this tape they are in the process of digitizing a potential Lost Egyptian Tapes vol. 2 and will disclose it’s contents to the world soon.
