Plus, a handful of other things at Bergamot Station art center. Super fun escape from the worlds madness was the Lost & Found show of all found photos. They're orginals plus scans that have been blown up to large sizes, giving the viewer the feeling of being a miniature human.
Fun small show of photos by Yargos @webber_gallery was worth a pop in. The print quality is incredible. Very solid. Images are a mix of funny, surreal, documentary, and random snapshots. Sorry for the late post, if ya missed it, check the book out, it was fun too!

What I'd call "the people's exhibit" a mix of amateur and professional photographers showing LA in all its glory, insanity, and beauty. 200+ photos of only LA captured by people who live here. Working class hobbyist to professional fine art photographers all mixed together to show a modern view of this city. Prostitutes, fruit vendors, skate boarders, musicians, the protests, the fires, the families, the weirdos on the corners, all of it represented. No celebrities and all curated by @superchiefgalleryla and @estevanoriol . Go see the what im calling "The People's Show" Superchief is calling it Contagious Culture. If you're here in LA and need a mental escape or inspiration after an insane couple weeks, I highly recommend the William Egglestan show. Leaves Feb 1st. It was really amazing. If you're also from or been to the Mid-south, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Tennessee, or Arkansas, these will talk to you. ..if you're not, they will give you a window into a regional vibe that has a flavor that you can really taste from these photos.
