@thedearbornchi will be one of the many fantastic restaurants participating in the #ChicagoRestaurantWeek. This delicious American tavern serves up inspired dishes & cocktails. It’s the perfect place to relax in the loop. Located on the bustling corner of Dearborn & Randolph this neighborhood staple delivers a beautiful space located near shopping & theaters in the loop.
The restaurant is a family affair. Owners/sisters Clodagh & Amy Lawless have created a beautiful space. Together they have over 40 years of hospitality experience. It really shows with the incredible staff & food. Executive Chef
@ajcuschieri has been leading the kitchen since day one. His dishes are amazing. Did you know chef beat
@bobbyflay with his fish & chips? You can even order this award winning dish at the restaurant. I say eat like a champ!
You will find great steaks, fried chicken, burgers, salads, foie gras, & desserts. To get ready for the upcoming Restaurant Week we decided to order some favorites from their menu. The buttermilk-marinated fried chicken, maple mustard glaze, & house-made hot sauce is a must. The chicken is tender. It’s the perfect mix of sweet & spicy.
They also offered a cutting block of steaks. We enjoyed marinated short rib, filet mignon, NY strip, & porcini-crusted ribeye which came with creamy buttery house-made mashed potatoes. Make it a surf night with pan-roasted scallops with sunchoke mousse, chanterelle mushrooms, snow peas, baby kale, black truffle sauce, frisée & citrus salad, & crispy sunchoke chips.
Don’t sleep on the desserts. The fresh baked madeleines will have your tastebuds in heaven. The Dearborn is a perfect way to enjoy CRW. I’m excited to see everyone’s posts. I’m going back to my blue cheese olive stuffed martini. Cheers!
