In his new project “The Blonde Collection” Marilyn functions as a floating signifier continuously remixed through collective memory, media culture and artificial intelligence. A platinum hallucination endlessly reproduced across surfaces, objects and screens.nHerfray fragments and redistributes her image across lamps, chairs, acrylic structures and sculptural furniture, as if celebrity itself had liquefied into material culture. The body disappears and survives simultaneously through traces and repetitions.
Our conversation explores AI as a “ghost remixer”, celebrity as visual grammar, and the unstable boundary between icon, object and simulation in contemporary culture.
