Thank you once again for @adenirae , who invited me to submit artwork in a one-night exhibition “Sons and Daughters”. Your heart to lift your friends and community up is inspiring! It was fun to expand my creative expression to a new dimension in painting on canvas. 💗
This piece titled “Endurance” explores the tension between the desire to step away and the desire to stay connected to another person. Remaining connected can feel like it requires divine intervention, as choosing connection is often harder than choosing separation.
She’s always changing me without a word
And I was just, I was just getting used to her
Keeps rearranging me a little bit
And I was just, I was just getting used to it

友達 Tomodachi in Japan! A concentrated happiness during this month I was in Japan - to see my LA friends in Tokyo, NY friends in Tokyo, childhood friends in Tokyo! To catch up, to create, to live life! Thankful for an opportunity to capture these images to look back and remember the memories made at that time 🫶🏼
Traveling buddies—it’s one thing to be besties in a city, another thing to travel overseas with them! Grateful to have been in another country, another“dimension” in motion with you guys city to city…would do it all over again. 🤎
Moments of Japan with Mikey 🫶🏼 we still talk about this trip and long to go back. This trip taught us so much about our relationship, our strengths and weaknesses. What an opportunity to soon reach 1 year of dating and 2.5 years of best-friendhood, have learned to love each other in so many ways! Love you my dear one❣️

The collection, beginning with a credenza, reinterprets the traditional 神枱—a place for honoring ancestors and housing memories. The design is inspired by the idea of a “traveling companion,” using modular components that resemble portable trunks or shrines, similar to the ritual of a Japanese ramen cart being set up and broken down.
It was an honor getting to craft a story about this credenza because of how it expressed it was intended to take ahold of the space in people’s lives over generations. I’m grateful for Paul and Jeremy for taking the chance to let me portray their message in this format, sharing their craftsmanship in the composition of the credenza. May there be more collaborations!

Domestic Ritual reflects on the small gestures that make a life feel whole. Inspired by Byung-Chul Han’s The Disappearance of Rituals, it considers how, in a restless world, repetition can become a form of care.
Handcrafted in Los Angeles from mahogany and washi paper, each piece balances warmth and structure, inviting us to slow down, to take things apart, and to find meaning in what we build and rebuild.
Opening at INTRO LA @smalloffice.info on November 14.
