Hey there!
While many of you here on IG know who I am, there are many who don’t and figured this cheeky little video would be a great intro.
I’ve spent most of my childhood dreaming about distant lands, strange cultures and traveling long distances to learn about this fascinating world that we live in.
At the same time, I was passionate about technology and its impact on our lives.
This passion led to a career in technology and design where I ended up working on some amazing projects with some amazing people and built some great relationships along the way, but there was always that nagging voice in the back of my head telling me I was meant for more.
I eventually took the leap and quit my job (several times I might add) to learn more about this world and explore my curiosities of food, culture and adventure. Over this time, I’ve had experiences and created memories that would fill several lifetimes.
From the places I’ve visited, to the people I’ve shared meals with along the way, my travels have fundamentally changed me as a person and forced me to challenge my preconceived notions time and time again.
Over this time, my passion and understanding for photography grew as it allowed me to hone my eye and develop my perspective on how I view the world, both literally and figuratively. This eventually led me to pursuing a career in filmmaking and photography. While I’ve had some incredible projects along the way in this career path, still, something was missing. And that’s to share stories around culture, food and travel…all while traveling by motorcycle. With the perspective that I’ve developed over the years, I feel like I’m now in a position to share these stories and give you a glimpse into how I see the world.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. You’re a real one. I appreciate your attention and hope you’ll stick around for what’s to come.
Side Note: A few months ago I shared that I started a YouTube channel & Instagram account called @borderlessappetite to share these types stories, but I’m bringing that project back under this account because it’s my perspective that I’m sharing. Borderless Appetite will now just be the name of the video series.
Vegan food these days gets a bad wrap for a whole host of reasons but when you meet people like @chefvitaja you can’t help but appreciate the love and passion he has for the Ital cuisine. While filming one of the many amazing retreats that @returntosaturn runs, she surprised the crew with a cooking class by the river that blew all of your minds. He taught us about Ital food and its history with the Rastafarians while making us laugh the whole way and was such a pleasure to witness him in his element. Check him out to learn more about that Ital lifestyle 🇯🇲

Lately, several people have told me they started something just because of the actions they’ve seen me take.
Whether it’s eating better, going to the gym, or finally taking the leap to do the things you’ve always been scared to do, your seemingly inconsequential actions can inspire people to take that next step, no matter how small.
That small step could be the start of a journey that will last a lifetime so be sure to live a life you love and do epic shit.
You never know who’s watching.
As most things in life, we tend to overcomplicate things.
This is the exact4 step IG ads strategy you can use to help generate 10-25 leads this month. If you implement this today, there’s no reason you won’t be able to hit your goals this month.
Try it out and tell me how it goes!
Most travel content is lying to you.
It’s selling you a highlight reel. Perfect landscapes. Perfect meals. Perfect moments. What it’s not showing you is the stories behind the plates and the adventures along the way.
I travel slowly. Curiously. Always looking for the story. The people nobody’s filming. The meals that don’t look pretty but taste like someone’s entire life’s work.
And the moment you sit across from someone whose life looks nothing like yours and realize they love their family just as hard, work just as long, and laugh just as loud...something shifts.
Those are the stories I’m here to tell.
And the next time you think about posting think about how your story can change someone’s life.

I was talking to a local business owner about 5 months back.
Doing 30k months consistently. Good at what she does. Solid reputation in her area. But she had a goal of hitting 50k months and couldn’t figure out why she was stuck.
So I asked her one question.
What does your online presence look like?
Silence.
She had an Instagram page with several posts, the last one from several weeks ago. No strategy, no consistency, nothing. Just word of mouth keeping the lights on.
And that’s the thing. Word of mouth got her to 30k. But word of mouth has a ceiling. It only reaches as far as the people who already know her.
Here’s what 5 months of inaction actually cost her.
If just 20 potential customers a month found her competitor instead of her, and each one was worth an average of 1k, that’s 20k a month walking out the door.
Over 5 months that’s 100k in revenue she never saw. Not because she wasn’t good enough. Not because the market dried up. But because she was invisible.
100k. Gone. Because she wanted to wait for the right time.
The customers who could take her to 50k are out there right now searching for exactly what she offers.
They’re scrolling, they’re looking for someone they can trust, someone they can see, someone who shows up.
And right now that someone is her competitor.
She’s not stuck because she’s not good enough. She’s stuck because nobody outside her existing circle even knows she exists.
That’s a content problem. And it’s completely fixable.
The gap between 30k and 50k months isn’t talent. It’s visibility.
If this sounds familiar DM me and let’s talk about what showing up consistently could actually do for your business.
We spend all day on this app consuming content, getting hit with the same recycled advice. Post every day, beat the algorithm, hack your way to views.
But here’s the truth nobody wants to say out loud: most local businesses have no content strategy at all.
Not a bad one.
None.
And while you’re waiting for the “right time” to start, your competitor three blocks away is showing up, building trust, and taking your customers.
I’m not here to shame you. I’ve been guilty of overthinking this too. But there’s a difference between a business that survives on referrals and luck, and one that owns its market.
Content isn’t a nice-to-have for local businesses.
It’s the whole game.
We’re in the area of authenticity and speaking on camera is going to set you apart from the competition by a country mile, especially for service based businesses.
Just grab your phone, start talking like you would to a friend and watch your online presence change 🙌🏽
In a world where there is so much noise on social, it’s become increasingly hard to cut through and build trust with your audience. This is a perfect example of why showing your process is of the utmost importance if you want to help turn those skeptical followers into clients.
Shout out to @returntosaturn for putting in the work in getting people to take the leap and bet on themselves.
AI is all the rage these days and will đź’Ż change the world, but much of the implementation othese days is just plain lazy and is actually hurting the brand more than anything.
Find a way to infuse yourself in it. Not another facet of the business to hide behind.
We need more human connection, authenticity and relatability. Show up and watch the relationship to your clients change.
