Talk to someone
I don’t mean to boast but I love this poem and I think I wrote it as a message to myself.
I’m currently in the process of getting therapy (ie I have opened and closed the enquiry form about 50 times but the last time I left it open so that’s one step closer)
I’ve lost friends and family over the past few years and I have of course so many people I can talk to but I actually just sometimes need to talk to someone who isn’t in my life so I will be taking my own advice and go and TALK TO SOMEONE

Fear of judgement
Worry I’ll tip our boat
Silence
Is often worst than lies
But around you
Better than honesty

In your presence
I was so afraid
to lose you
To not have your full attention
Obsessed with your obsession

When I shared good news
Sugarcoating my achievements
Concerned it would hurt you
