Under the Apple tree, above the sea. 🌳🍎🌊 The older I get, the faster time seems to move, and the more I appreciate how important it is to bring family and friends around a table to mark significant events. Being trusted to cook for people during those moments is something we’re really grateful for. #cheesypost #cornwallfood

What an absolute joy it was catering for @finisterre at the beautiful @cabillacornwall last Wednesday ✨ We created a menu utilising the amazing fresh produce around us: • Spring green & foraged wild garlic frittata • Bright beetroot borani with plenty of fresh parsley picked by @wild_wine_woman • House focaccia • Roasted fennel and carrot Quinoa salad • @aral.farm providing such stunning radishes we had to keep them whole and enjoy them as they were with some delicious whipped wild garlic butter 🧈 • @aral.farm leaf salad with a mustard vinaigrette It’s getting more and more exciting to create menus with the great selection of produce spring brings 🌞 #eventcatering #seasonalmenu #cornwallcatering #nourishingfood #springmenu

A few glimpses from our last Community Tea Session 🍃🫖 at the @agweres This time, we explored a Black + Red and shared a beautiful variety of teas, many of them sourced by our friends at @postcardteas (which brought a big smile on my face). A few standouts were the black osmanthus + plum blossom, potent Guangxi (which made may of us think of wet stones) grounding roasted Black Sun, and the nutty sobacha. I honestly can’t think of many things that bring me more joy than this little, growing community of tea friends. Thank you all for making it possible 💌 And big, big thanks to @wild_wine_woman for hosting us! And for those who missed this month’s session, watch out for new dates, coming out very soon. #gongfu #teacommunity #cha #blacktea #茶

Our Citrus & Almond Cake 🍊✨ We used a delicious mix of lemons, grapefruit & oranges from @crowd_farming ,grown by Antonio & Cándido under the Spanish sun in the Province of Almería. These beautiful fruits became our homemade marmalade, served at our retreat breakfasts. With all that leftover citrus pulp, we turned it into something just as special, these irresistible citrus & almond cakes ✨ They were such a hit with our guests that we had to share the recipe, so you can bring a little taste of our retreat home too 🧡 #SustainableFood #CornwallRetreats #RetreatCatering #AlmondCake #CitrusCake

Join us for a relaxed spring lunch at Agweres with chef @rose_maxwellll , celebrating the rustic flavours of South West France through food and wine. Inspired by Jeanne Stang’s much-loved cookbook ‘Goose Fat & Garlic’, paired with French wine selected by expert @wild_wine_woman After growing up and cooking in London, doing her own pop ups and working at Padella and Trullo, Rose moved to Cornwall 5 years ago to work as Head Chef at the renowned farm to table restaurant Coombeshead Farm. Embracing what’s in season, celebrating the best local produce around, and bringing people together through food, her passion is for simple, good cooking, inspired by the farmhouses of Britain and Europe. She’s now cooking part time, growing at Mora Farm and working hard on her thriving allotment. Through three courses, we’ll share dishes that honour the spirit of the French Southwest, think slow-cooked meats, fragrant garlic and the unmistakable depth that comes with the rich French style of cooking. Debbie’s pairings will feature wines from @domaineentras and @domainelacalmette . Expect delicious food, good conversation and an easy convivial atmosphere as we welcome in the new season 🍃 When: 3rd May - 1pm sit down Where: Agweres, Lanteague Studios Tickets on sale now! Hello tea friends I’m delighted to announce our next Community Tea Session on Saturday 11th April 10am-12pm This time we are being welcomed by @agweres in Newquay in their warm and beautiful space. Big thanks to @wild_wine_woman for letting us to use the space. The theme for this meet up is Black + Red tea. The tea session is free to attend—just bring some Black/Red tea or any loose leaf tisane and favourite teaware. If you’re bringing a tisane, choose one that echoes the energy of black or red tea—grounding and warming, with a subtle lift and a delicate astringent edge. Sign up via bio 🍵✌🏼 We have only 12 spots available. HAVE A CUP OF TEA are community tea sessions in Cornwall held to meet, share + discuss tea. #teasession #gongfucha #gongfu #cornwallcommunitynewquay

What a beautiful evening it was with you all @agweres 🍷 Thank you so much to Debbie and Vikki for hosting us again for an evening of tasty small plates and bites, orange wine and kombucha and of course pottery! The atmosphere at these events is so relaxed and much sexier and sophisticated than our colourful studio. It’s so nice to teach in a totally different environment to our usual day to day (we love the studio too!) Everyone made 4 stackable plates that have turned out so well we can’t wait to see them finished ❣️ Just to get the 64 plates to through the kiln first 😅 #potteryandwine #cornwall #potteryworkshop
