Sourdough Focaccia!
I kinda stopped baking bread for a while as It was giving very strong waves of 2020 sadness. Plus lbh tending to a starter is borderline childcare. But I felt the calling again and I think I’m back. Working dough is mediative and this baby was bloody yum. Salty, springy, oily and taaaaangy
Fog, wildflowers, eggy hot springs, Farley trying to stay awake for my sake and a snack bag of mustard/mortadella sangas and weird limoncello Lacroix really hit the spot. It was a spontaneous hike, a bit of an uphill scramble, moments of losing the trail but eventually leading to a chefs kiss reward. I though a lot about motherhood, my own beautiful mumma, those grieving, those trying and the friends who keep my spirit laughing and inspired through this journey 🌼 🪐
