I have an immense desire to photograph people. So, in lieu of not having anybody else to do portraits with, here are some self portraits I took tonight.
I love being in front of the camera as much as I love being behind it. But self portraits are an art form I have yet to master. It requires immense patience and grace. So please help dig me out of this hole that I am in and let me take your picture!
But seriously, if any of you beautiful people reading this have an equal desire to have their picture taken, as i do taking it, then reach out to me. Photographing people is what gives me joy, and I would love nothing more than to collaborate with someone like you.
And for those nerds who are interested in gear talk, I will enlighten you. These photographs were taken in my backyard with my canon r5 mk2. I used a tripod while using the remote shutter from my iphone. I believe my flash is the canon speedlite 580 ex ii. It’s a solid flash for a reasonable price. My on-camera filters are what gives these photos their unique color and depth.
