Installing a @torquesolution oil pan and pickup on this #WRX today. It's a super nice kit that includes lots of useful hardware bits and baffling which will help protect against oil starvation as well as doing away with the factory pickup tube which is a known failure point on the old #ej motors. Also love the fact that this pan seals with an O-ring rather than RTV, kind of a cool solution.

One of the coolest creature comfort things that @fortuneautousa does on their coilovers is the clamp style locking rings. It may not matter a lot to some people but to anyone who sets up and regularly tweaks their set ups it's a game changer.

@j.singer17 popped back in finally so we could do some follow up adjustments to his @fortuneautousa 500s. He actually drove the car in the wintery salt slush we had at the end of winter so I figured it'd be a great opportunity to see how well the the #fortuneauto #coilovers covers were working.

One of the many hats I get to wear is race control/corner worker coordinator for @wwtraceway and one of the most recent perks of the job is I get to hang out in the same tower that the big boys of #nascar and #indycar get to hang out in.

Nothing better than having a reason to buy a big new stupid tool. I was working on a Mercedes the other week that finally defeated our good old fashion 2 piece spring compressor from AutoZone so @rwdyaudi hit the old FB market place I bought us a proper wall mounted spring compressor.
Tools like this make even the longest and stiffest spring shocks a cake walk. They take a lot of space so they're not really a DIY tool, but for a shop that does suspension work, they're a must have.
