Last year, on this day, I jumped into a project that ended up changing my life forever. ✨ One month of production. One month of performances. A lifetime of memories. We closed our Into The Woods in the woods last weekend! In 2015, I did my first show that I gave a shit about at 12 years old. 10 years later I got to reprise my role as little red except this time it was in nyc and I am of drinking age. Into the woods literally means so much to me and im so glad I did this show with such a stunning group of people. Every time this show comes into my life (this is the third time now) I end up starting a new chapter. I genuinely define my life eras by productions of into the woods lmao. Anyways im so proud of this immersive production and of all of the people involved. I already miss it :) thank u all for taking a chance on me <3

And you’re back again only different than before…✨🌲🌔 There aren’t enough words to describe the true magic of this experience and production. ♥️ Into the Woods in the woods with @sternfeldstudio was one of the most artistically fulfilling and emotionally moving experiences I have ever had. It was joyful, hilarious, challenging, tough, cathartic, all of the things. I’ve never done anything like it ever. And to do it with these people!! These unbelievable people. Led by our fearless leader @milessternfeld (I could cry thinking back to our younger selves dreaming about theatre together), and our unbelievable music director/arranger/mad scientist @lenagabriellemusic . What a true gift to do this show and this role with this remarkable cast and crew in this way. There’s just nothing like it. I’m sure I will continue to have more to say and more tears to cry haha but for now it’s out of he woods! We closed @sternfeldstudio ’s magical, immersive INTO THE WOODS last night. ITW is a core musical for me. It was my introduction to Sondheim - I’ve known every word and note by heart since I was 12. I’ve seen countless productions over the years, yet despite my best efforts, I had yet to do one myself until I got this offer. What a gift it was to hear the score for the first time around a campfire with gorgeous new orchestrations by @lenagabriellemusic What a gift to play in the actual woods with this beautiful company of genius actors and musicians led by the brilliant @milessternfeld What a gift to sing this score under the stars. As we sing in the finale: “Each time you go / There’s more to learn / Of what you know” - thanks to this production for teaching me many valuable things that I hadn’t known before.
