The first time Louis Armstrong’s voice was ever heard on a record, it was on the Fletcher Henderson 1924 recording of Everybody Loves My Baby. We do a version of it in A Wonderful World. Here’s another version I had the pleasure of doing (on Boardwalk Empire), and with some familiar folks too. Choreography by Pat Birch. Music by Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks. “Dance has been one of the greatest gifts my mother gave to me,” writes Broadway dancer @afrahines . “It is because of her encouragement and support that I was able to pursue this life. Dance has been my safe space when I’m depressed and going through a hard time, and my place of celebration and joy in the good times.”
