Life as of late has been smiles and salty sea dogs!

HIM is getting to the end of its festival run, we’re delighted by the reception it’s gotten so far. Notably, HIM won Best Drama Short at The Canadian International Film Festival as well as Best Cinematography at The Dublin Movie Awards. Additionally HIM was a Semi-Finalist at the Best Shorts Fest and the Calgary Indie Film Awards. It is such an honour to be considered and have our work receive recognition at these festivals. We made this film basically for free and with the four of us working together for the first time. I know we are all quite proud of what we achieved and incredibly excited to make more movies in the future! Once HIM is done it’s festival run it will be released-likely on YouTube- so stay tuned! Can’t believe almost a week ago we wrapped on shooting @akindoflovefilm . This marks my second short film as a writer and director and boy did I learn a lot!! It was such an incredible shoot with so many talented creative artists making it the best it could possible be. Truly this film would be nothing without the beautiful team behind it. Notably @alice.words for keeping all my shit together and @mac.boyle for simply making an absolutely stunning film! @its_najagar so fuckin thankful you were on this, it would not have gotten done without you! Thank you so much @itsjessmcleod , couldn’t have thought of anyone better to play the leading role, pure talent from this wonderful human! I fear the list would go on and on as everyone was superstar in their own right!
