Another appointment at our amazing @vca clinic.Thankfully his tail is looking much better and is healing well now that the infection has been hit with the right combination of antibiotics.We're off to Vancouver for a few days so we will be changing the dressing while there and then we are back to see the vet again on Thursday to make a plan.We seem to be on the right track now thankfully and this may all be behind us soon #vca #canineorg #servicedog #agentatticusv #adventuresincomplexity

Poor @agent_atticus_v has had an awful 5 weeks with his 'happy tail'.Things are definitely looking better though and we're hoping our 2-3 times a week vet visits and dressing changes every 2 days will finally be done with very soon.I feel so bad for my boy though. He is the sweetest and this is so unfair We're so thankful to VCA and VEG for the amazing care they have given him over the last few weeks ️ @vca @veg#canineorg #servicedog #servicedogsofinstagram #agentatticusv #adventuresincomplexity

We're getting our time in with @seattlechildrens this week!We had pre-anesthesia clinic on Monday, the dentist and labs on Tuesday, psychology on Wednesday and today we are in for shunt x-rays, neurosurgery and an iron infusion with hematology!!That's on top of a PT intensive at @rww_pediatricsand our usual additional therapies! Thankfully we had a break from our usual school classes most of this week as they were on spring break.We're looking forward to a quieter weekend! As usual @agent_atticus_v has been the best, most patient boy as we drag him from place to place with hardly any down time in-between. He gets very upset when we leave him at home because he LOVES being out with us!#medicallycomplex #seattlechildrens #spinabifida #agentatticusv #adventuresincomplexity

It's been a while since we posted. That's totally a reflection on how insanely busy it's been here!Between Girl Scout cookie season keeping me crazy busy (my troop sold 3458 boxes), my parents came to visit for 2 weeks, the kids have kept our schedule crazy as usual and @agent_atticus_v has been through some pretty awful medical issues which has involved a lot of vet appointments (more on that later when I get a chance)In other news, Luca just started a PT intensive in @rww_pediatrics He'll be here for PT almost every day for the next four weeks and we're really excited to see what progress he makes.#medicallycomplexkids #medicalfamily #ptintensive #agentatticusv #adventuresincomplexity

Luca and Caia had an awesome weekend of working hard during an intensive with the amazing Larissa from @snowflakewarriors.ptWe always gain so much from our mini intensives with Larissa and it's so amazing that she is coming here to the Seattle area for them now and we don't have to travel to Portland to see her!For anyone in Washington or Oregon I highly recommend checking what dates Larissa has intensives and booking in to give it a try. We took our @nexplayground to PT at @rww_pediatrics last week and it was a huge hit.The kids worked on various goals while playing games including balance, sitting balance while crossing midline by only using one hand for Fruit Ninja etc.Our therapists loved it so much that we applied to Nex Playground for Good to see if they can get their own Nex to be used with all of their other little patients.Fingers crossed #nexplayground #therapeuticgaming#gaminig #ptgoals #pediatricphysicaltherapy #physicaltherapy #medicallycomplex #medicalkids #medicalfamily #spinabifida #wheelchairuser #tetheredcord #adventuresincomplexity
