It’s not always healthy to dwell on the past, but looking back helps us remember our experiences. Good or bad, it isn’t always best to forget.

I have memories I cherish with friendships that have perished. But life is long and although we make mistakes and stumble and tear everyone down with us sometimes, tomorrow can still be a brighter day.

I’ve had a bad habit of reacting unconsciously/impulsively and it has on many occasions been a detriment to my relationships, but this is why I look down at my reflecting pond. So that I can one day be confident that my reactive words don’t seep into my loved ones like poison, like days before.
