Hey pals, if you’re not in Minneapolis or the Twin Cities, things are real bad right now. My school is located in south Minneapolis and our students and their families have been greatly affected by the ICE presence in our city, and are not feeling safe being out in the community. So many of you have reached out asking if we need anything—many donated food and money for food, running to the stores and delivering groceries to me so we could get them redistributed to our families. Right now, our families are very scared about the end of the month and their ability to make rent. If you, or someone you may know, whether you live in Minnesota but want to help, this is a huge pressing need. Thank you so much, if you’d like save the image and send it to those folks that may want to help support our community.

2025 Recap pt 4–the final recap October-December Whooooo this fall/winter was busy— I co-directed a haunt the amazing @gail.estelle who I would have fallen apart without, I assistant directed the legendary Family Dinner improv with the incomparable Molly Ritchie for a two month run at the Brave New Workshop’s Dudley Riggs Theater, I performed, I took workshops and classes and took the baby steps to learning clown, and traveled with my love to see a clown show in NYC. It was busy, it was stressful, it was fun. I’m excited for 2026, because honestly, in a lot of ways 2025 sucked a lot—the bright spots made it all worth it. Here’s to more clowning, more improv, more puppetry. Here’s to creating more than I consume and to making so much weird art a midwestern mom would say “well that’s certainly different.” 1. 2025 Recap pt 3, the recap strikes back July-September The summer was full of puppetry, Open Eye Theater’s The Driveway Tour’s Adventures of Juan Bobo and the 2 Wheel Tour as part of Arts Affair at the Minnesota State Fair. My technical skill in the artistry of puppetry really grew and I started to overcome my fear of Marionette puppetry (they’re really hard and easy to break okay). After months of job searching I landed at a new school in South Minneapolis. I also began the grueling and stressful and exhilarating task of co-directing the Haunted Basements 15th haunt. @skot_waffles was an amazing technical director and @bumbling_fools_mead was amazing for hosting us so generously. 1.
