Malachius bipustulatus, the malachite beetle 💙
This beetle is about 6 millimeters long and has a metallic green, shiny carapace with striking red spots on its head, pronotum, and elytra tips. The males have characteristic yellow-orange projections on their antennal segments, which are absent in the females. The larvae are predatory and feed on other insects, while the adult beetles primarily consume pollen and nectar.

🔥 Porcellio spinicornis is one of the most distinctive European woodlice.
Its yellow spotting, dark head, granular armor and the slightly “spiny” lateral lobes on the head give this species its characteristic look.
Did you know that Porcellio spinicornis doesn’t have lungs, but modified gills (pseudotracheae)?
As a terrestrial crustacean, it still depends on moisture for gas exchange through these structures.

Ich habe die OM‑1 Mark II 💚 zum Testen hier und war die Tage einfach ein bisschen unterwegs, ohne konkretes Ziel – nur schauen, wie sich die Kamera anfühlt und wie sie auf unterschiedliche Situationen reagiert.
Und dann treffe ich auf diesen wunderschönen Schrotbock (Rhagium inquisitor) – ein Motiv, das man nicht ignoriert, wenn man Makro ernst nimmt. 😉😅
