This day is designed to hype independent businesses that promote sustainability and the beauty and durability of days gone by. Adams Morgan has a vibrant, growing vintage scene of its own — plan a vintage store “crawl” and visit the neighborhood’s second-hand havens: Garlic Girl Vintage, Tiny Vinyl Shop, Mercedes Bien, Smash Records, Golden Hour Collective, Grift the Rich, Metro Club Vintage, and GoodWood (some of these are outside the technical bounds of AdMo but we love them all the same!).
