@peter.l.jiang to be present in the lifelong process of creation and not put so much pressure on the result of one work.
It hadn’t always been easy to talk about the personal nature of the film. It was made during a conflicting period, struggling to belong in a foreign country socially and as an aspiring PR migrant, trying to grow a steady career, and struggling with creation vs consumption and mental wellbeing. Putting some of these thoughts for the screen may have added more pressure, but definitely worth it.
Through the inspiring efforts of the cast and crew, the film finally got made and distributed in the end. Big part thanks to our producer Adrian's

I have a lot to learn in the future, and I want to go back to making more films after my full-time stint. I know I'll be more present and cherish the process even more than ever. “Because one day you’re going to be 40 and you’re going to think back to these moments that what life was about,” Andrew wisely lectures during our nightly shoot debrief post-game of Blackjack.
